At the end of the day, the three main features that make this board stand out from the rest is first the low price.  The SPI connection to the IMU which allows you to get sensor readings at 8kHz update rate.  Also the micro SD card allows you to record up to 32GB of black box data.  Compared to the dataflash chips which hold on about 128mb, you can record as much data as you want, and as quickly as you want without ever worrying about the storage.  Also not to mention this board was designed by the Cleanflight creator, Dominic Clifton, so you know it will work well!
